What's included

Fences & Exterior in Bothell and nearby

Fences get the most wear in the Pacific Northwest. Posts rot, gates sag and boards gray out. Repairs range from one leaning post to full cedar replacements finished with stain. Recent work includes a 157-foot cedar fence built and stained on both sides.

  • Full cedar fence builds and replacements
  • Leaning or rotted post replacement
  • Gates that sag or won't latch
  • Lattice tops and new sections
  • Semi-transparent stain, two coats
  • Garage door seals and weatherstripping
  • Shed repair and skirting
  • Flashing and gap sealing
  • Small roof-leak and corrugated panel repairs
  • Clear vinyl patio weather panels

Fence lines are measured on site so the estimate lists posts, panels, gates, stain and haul-away separately.

Common questions

Do you repair fences or only replace them?

Both. Single posts, gates and sections get repaired. Full replacement is quoted when repair no longer makes sense.

Do you stain new fences?

Yes. New cedar can be stained after install, and some jobs include a second coat on a return visit.

What wood do you use for fences?

Mostly cedar, which handles Pacific Northwest weather well. The estimate lists the posts, rails, pickets and hardware so you can see what's going in.

Do I need a permit for a new fence?

Many ordinary-height residential fences don't need a building permit, but height limits, setbacks and HOA rules vary by city. The rules for your address are checked before building, and you'll know before work starts if a permit is needed.

When should a new cedar fence be stained?

New cedar often needs time to dry before stain soaks in well, depending on the weather and the wood. Some jobs are stained right away with a product made for new wood; others get a return visit. The estimate says which.

Do you repair sheds and garage door seals?

Yes. Shed doors, skirting and small shed repairs, plus garage door bottom seals and weatherstripping. Garage door springs, openers and wiring go to a garage door or electrical specialist.
