Handyman help in Everett
Everett is two very different places for home repair. North Everett, around downtown on the Port Gardner Peninsula, has the older homes, and some in Port Gardner and Rucker Hill date to the early 1900s. The south end was mostly annexed starting in 1959 and filled in with suburban houses, apartments and condos, with another building wave after Boeing built its plant in the late 1960s. We work in both halves of the city, and we plan each job around the age of the home.
The city is a longer drive for us than our closest service areas, so we plan visits to make good use of the trip. Sending photos first helps: we can often give you a free estimate without a visit, then show up with the right parts and tools. Ben, the owner, has years of apartment maintenance experience, which counts in a city where more than half of homes are rented. You'll get an itemized invoice and before-and-after photos for every job.

Everett homes and what they need
Housing here spans more than a century. Northwest Everett, Riverside and Rucker Hill have older homes and several historic districts, and original wood trim and doors there deserve a gentle hand. Southern neighborhoods like Cascade View, Evergreen and Silver Lake are mostly post-war and later suburban homes, while Westmont is mainly multi-family housing. Downtown has apartment buildings old and new. Older homes often need sticking doors fixed, trim repaired and careful paint prep. Newer houses and apartments tend to need hardware, blinds, drywall patches and touch-up paint.
For Everett landlords and property managers
More than half of Everett households rent, according to the 2020 census, so turnovers are a big part of what we offer here. We handle move-out repairs, patch and paint, lock changes, blinds, appliance checks and punch lists in houses, duplexes and apartment units. Each unit gets its own itemized invoice with before-and-after photos, which helps with owner reports and deposit records. Property managers can send several units at once, and we'll schedule them so the drive is worth it.

Common questions
Do you cover both north and south Everett?
Yes. We cover the whole city, from Riverside, Delta and Port Gardner near downtown to Cascade View, Evergreen, Silver Lake and Westmont in the south. Areas just outside city limits, like Mariner and Lake Stickney, can usually be served too.
Can you work on an older home from the early 1900s?
Yes. Some homes in Port Gardner and Rucker Hill date to the early 1900s. We repair doors, trim and handrails and handle paint prep with care for older materials. If your home is in a historic district, tell us up front so we can plan any exterior work around that.
Do you work with landlords and property managers?
Yes. We handle turnovers, punch lists and vacant-unit prep for houses and apartment units, and every unit gets an itemized invoice with photos. Because the city is a longer drive for us, grouping several units or jobs into one trip works well for everyone.
